It was the first time in about a week. The last I played the game I blew the rest of the money I had on some car mods. So I was surprised to find 65 Million Dollars added to my account..... I have no idea. A window popped up when I logged in that said "Do you accept this deposit into your account" I click yes not even thinking about it and 65,35x,xxx popped up on the right corner and was in my account. I put it in the bank, logged out and logged back in thinking it was a glitch and it was all still there. So I bought all the things.... Now i just need level 70 for the tank.

If this was the real world depositing 65 million in peoples accounts would just cause inflation.

That's awesome! I saw a glitch last night on a bounty that was about 1 million the guy went into his house and never came out :-(

Thats good to know, but at least if I get a ban hammer I can call R* and tell them it was just given to me, which can be verified on their systems.
I dont think they are basing the ban on whether the money itself is "Glitched" but rather that the user account shows the tell tale signs of "glitching" Yah know?

i think you may be safe, but honestly everything is sorta up in the air for who gets banned or not. there's a way to get the tank without level 70 glitch, but i would wait it out until this thing blows over

WHHHATTTTSSSSSS I want that glitch haha actually I dont, I have managed to never glitch the game and I am not about to start now... thats probably why I got the 65 mil....Karma Baby. I am level 50 somthing and need to hit 70, also need to unlock all car mods. once the tank and garage are full then the rest is charity as it was likely robin hooded to me.

Yeah I refuse to glitch the game, just like I refused to use cheats in the offline. I will get to level 70 at some point and then I will buy the tank and blow everyone up.

it was never my plan to glitch, i was doing this mission for martin where you have to save a guy and escort him to martin's house when i got to his house i walked in the marker and it started glitching.

The same thing happened to me last week - I was just cruising around and all of a sudden I got a notification that someone had given me $63 million. Logged out, logged back in, it was still there, so I went shopping.
I want to give it out to needy Oppo people, but I know that technically you can get banned for giving such a large amount of money to someone and I don't know if R* is tracking this fortune now or what.

Pretty much - since all that money is from exploits, they don't want people sharing ill-gotten gold. I saw a post on their website that they wouldn't punish the recipient though since if it happens in-game you don't have the option to refuse it. Not sure if sharing further will change that.
